We are travelers

TRAVELERSThis world, if i may tell you, is beautiful. We only live in this world for a while. We are travelers, we may be different by race, ethnicity, nationality, and religion. But our goal is one. To come to where we belong. It doesn’t matter if you’re Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Zoroaster, Sikh, Hindu, etc.

What does matter, is your sense of humanity. Your caring for each other. Your forgiveness. Your love. All of those things does matter. For what? Our preparation to travel to a different Dimension from the world. What is the purpose to travel into a different dimension? to meet our creator. Where? to a place where most of atheists don’t believe it’s existence, Heaven.

Judulnya sih “How to survive the Ramadhan month“. Sebenernya gak cuma tips, tapi gue juga akan menyelipkan budaya-budaya Indonesia di seputar bulan puasa.

Bulan puasa, adalah bulan yang menurut gue, suci, sekaligus kocak di Indonesia. Mengapa? banyak orang yang berlomba-lomba menjadi “suci”. Yang tadinya di twitter kerjaannya galau, pacaran di tl, atau kerjaannya maki-maki mulu, berubah jadi da’i yang keliatannya hafal hadist-hadist yang telah diriwayatkan. Gak cuma di Twitter, fesbuk, blog, dll.

Artis-artis cakep yang tadinya pamer paha, dada *EH, berlomba-lomba nutupin auratnya. Meskipun menutup aurat, tetep aje, kerudungnya yang ada punuk onta, tapi dua, terus bajunya yang lebay. The World’s (Twisted) Religion

I am currently trying to understand about other religions, from the book i’m reading, “The History of God”, written by Karen Armstrong. Basically, good people do good, because of religion. But what happened to these days are, many figures “used” religious events or religious stuffs for their political importance.

Yeah, quite sad. I’m an “awam” person in religious stuffs, so, i don’t exactly 1000% understand. But here, i’m just pouring what my mind says. For those who knows this, i grew up with my religious grandparents, and my secular dad. Isn’t that bad? Baca lebih lanjut
